SALTED CARAMEL FUDGE
INGREDIENTS FOR THE BASE
1/2 Cup Fresh Dates Chopped
1 Cup Almonds
1.5 Tbs Coconut Oil
1/4 Tsp Salt
FOR THE CARAMEL
1 Cup Fresh Dates Chopped
1/2 Cup Raw Honey
1/3 Cup Peanut Butter
1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
CHOCOLATE TOPPING
1/4 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
3-4 Tsps Kithul Treacle or Honey
DIRECTIONS
Line a baking tray with baking paper
Process Dates, Almonds, Salt & Coconut Oil until smooth
Press firmly onto baking tray – Refrigerate for 1 hour
Make Caramel by processing ingredients in a blender till very smooth
Spread mixture evenly over base and Freeze for 1 hour or until firm
Make Chocolate Topping by mixing all topping ingredients in a bowl – whisk well
Remove Caramel from Freezer and working quickly pour chocolate topping over the caramel mixture and Sprinkle with salt
Refrigerate for another hour till set
Remove from fridge and using a sharp knife, cut Fudge into pieces
